This
spectacular 5800 s.f. custom home is designed to “grow” out
of the site with it’s massive cut stone fin walls in a
radiating pattern mimicking the surrounding canyon walls. It
has a “fractured” floor plan that turns slightly
at each fin wall allowing each set of rooms to have a unique
view of the mountains that make up the dramatic 180 degree view.
This house has clean contemporary lines and forms, yet is rich
and warm with its natural earthy materials and colors. The massive
fin walls are veneered with a large square cut stone panel. Some
of the porch overhang parapets are wrapped with naturally rusting
cor-ten steel complimented with smooth hand-toweled stucco and
large storefront glazing system.
The interiors feature warm natural materials such as granite
countertops, travertine floors as well as some wood flooring
and tongue-n-groove wood planking in selected ceilings. Along
with a rich palette of earthy interior paint tones and hand selected
upper end lighting fixtures.
This home will rise above and prove to set a new standard of
custom designed residences in the majestic setting of Canyon
Pass. Built by Ranier Construction. |
